Online Payment Terms and Conditions

All payments of Sam Sharpe Teachers' College invoices using the online credit card facilities are subject to the following conditions.

  1. Sam Sharpe Teachers' College accepts the following cards:
    • MasterCard
    • Visa
    • KeyCard
  2. When you complete the online payment form, funds will be deducted from your credit card in Jamaican (JMD) currency.
  3. Due to the way transactions are processed by the external banking sites, there may be a delays of 1-3 days in updating your payment in Sam Sharpe Teachers' College records.
  4. Payments are debited to Sam Sharpe Teachers' College.
  5. Credit card payments are secure:
    • Payments will be processed using 3D Secure.
    • Credit card numbers are protected with a high level of encryption when transmitted over the Internet.
    • Sam Sharpe Teachers' College does not have access to your credit card details.
    • Sam Sharpe Teachers' College will only store at maximum, the first 6 and last 4 digits of your credit card number.
  6. Confirmation:
    • If successful, Sam Sharpe Teachers' College will confirm that your payment was completed.
    • If unsuccessful, Sam Sharpe Teachers' College will advise that your payment has failed. You will not be advised why a payment has failed, therefore, you should contact your credit card provider for details.
    • If your payment fails, please use one of the other payment methods described on your invoice. Please arrange an alternative payment method promptly to ensure you are not restricted to attend classes or to view your grades.
  7. Sam Sharpe Teachers' College will confirm your payment details via email.
  8. All information you provide on the credit card payment facility forms will be handled in accordance with the Sam Sharpe Teachers' College privacy statement.
  9. Sam Sharpe Teachers' College Terms and Conditions for online credit card payments are subject to change at any time. Each transaction shall be subject to the specific Terms and Conditions that were in place at the time of the transaction.
  10. We encourage you to keep a copy or the receipt for your records.
